My Story

In April of 2024 during a seminar in Ourense Spain, Master Fu has asked me if I am teaching in Malta. I told him that I do not have classes as I spend all my free time training. He asked me to go back and spread authentic Yang style Taijiquan and thus my teaching journey has started.

 

I came across Master Fu Qing Quan傅清泉 through a  friend from Hong Kong in 2002.  Master Fu had started an online class for his students during Covid shut down.  I am fluent in Mandarin so I could easily follow his classes. I have been his student ever since.

Of course, my passion in Chinese martial arts has been with me since my teenage years and that lead me to  thirteen years living in China studying Mandarin, work and of course learn Chinese wushu. During this time, I was a disciple of some lineage holders including Master Wong Nim Yi (Mai Gei Wong Wing Chun米机王咏春拳), Master Li Sui Cheng ( ZhaoBao Taijiquan small frame赵宝太极拳小架)  and Master Wang Chang An ( of ZhaoBao Taijiquan large frame 赵宝太极拳大架 lineage). Somewhere in between I had short period training in Wudang taijiquan and Chen Taijiquan.

In my earlier years in Guangzhou (in 2001) I had encountered a professor of medical qigong (Profs Xiao Xin He) where he taught me  Prenatal Energy Mobilizing Qigong (先天一元气功） and in recent years I have been practicing Zhineng Qigong（智能气功）under Qigong Master & TCM Doctor -  Zhu Cong Hua.
