2025 Yong Nian Annual Training and Qing Ming Festival - Ancestor Worship Activity of the Fu Family Yang Style Taijiquan Lineage held in Handan, China.

On March 27, 2025, on the eve of the Qingming Festival, the annual traditional training of the World Yongnian Association kicked off here, and the "Yang Family Taiji Fu Men Disciples Worship Ancestors" event held at the Fu Gong Ancestral Hall was held at the same time. During the event, nearly 200 Taijiquan practitioners and disciples from all over the country gathered in the ancient city of Guangfu in Handan, Hebei Province, to worship well-known Taijiquan holy places such as Fu Gong Ancestral Hall, and commemorate the ancestors with the most solemn ceremonies. The guests attending the event include: Song Yongzhong, Deputy Director of the Handan Sports Bureau, Li Wei, Chief of the Laws and Regulations Section of the Sports Bureau, Guo Lishan, Executive Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch of Guangfu Ancient City, Han Qingmin, a disciple of Grandmaster Fu Zhongwen, Yang Jun, the sixth generation family descendant of Yang Luchan, and Yang Qingbo, a disciple of Grandmaster Fu Shengyuan. The memorial ceremony was presided over by Yang Zongjie, director of the Taijiquan Office of the Handan Sports Bureau.

At 10 o'clock in the morning of the same day, in front of the archway of Fu Gong Ancestral Hall, Fu Qingquan, the founder of Taiji Qingquan and the inheritor of Yang-style Taijiquan, delivered a speech, expressing his loyal thanks to the disciples, colleagues and friends from all walks of life, and he emphasized that the "inheritance power" of the younger generations is the best consolation for the ancestors.

Subsequently, Master Fu Qingquan personally led all the staff to perform the traditional bowing ceremony.

In the afternoon, under the guidance of Instructor Fu Qingquan, all the students systematically practiced the Yang-style Taijiquan 28 form and the internal frame 7 form Taijiquan method, and also went to the Fu Gong Temple and local scenic spots for exchange and sightseeing during the event.

The annual ancestor worship activities of Fu Gong Ancestral Hall make people feel the profound heritage of Taijiquan once again, and also appreciate the breadth of traditional Chinese culture. As Master Fu Qingquan said, inheritance is the best consolation for the ancestors. Ancestor worship rituals express our love and reverence for our ancestors, and it is also a way for us to connect with our ancestors across time and space. No matter how far you go, the roots of Tai Chi are in Guangfu, and the love is in Guangfu.

This year marks the eighth anniversary of the death of Taijiquan great master Fu Shengyuan. As the founder of the World Yongnian Taijiquan Federation, Mr. Fu Shengyuan has devoted his life to the global spread of Authentic Yang-style Taijiquan, cultivating a large number of outstanding disciples, so that more foreign friends can understand and like Chinese Taijiquan.
